Total Windsurf was launched in 2007, as a resource for windsurfers, providing the latest news and links to other windsurfing websites. Two years later, we decided that it was time for a change and developed our windsurf mapping website.

The aim of our mapping website is to build a database of windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing locations, kit suppliers and training centres from across the world, making it easier for watersports enthusiasts to find the best windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing locations before heading out on a trip or on holiday.

In 2011 Total Windsurf was totally re-vamped and the new design now allows you to take advantage of a whole host of features which were not previously available. In addition to adding locations and writing reviews & comments, you can now add photos, save locations as favourites, follow your friends and create custom maps of your favourite locations. We are constantly working on Total Windsurf create a resource for windsurfers, kitesurfers and surfers that is simple, user-friendly and provides information about locations around the world.
